This is usually most noticeable at slower speeds, particularly when you are trying to accelerate moderately. It is usually unnoticeable at higher speeds and when you are cruising.

“Of course, it isn’t always the spark plug causing the miss. It could be a problem with the spark-plug wire, the distributor (if your car still has one) or the ignition coil. A bad fuel injector can cause the same symptoms as a bad spark plug. And even a vacuum leak from a crack in one of those black hoses can cause a miss.”
