- Battery is more than 3 years old.

The test will identify if the battery has deteriorated to the point where replacement is recommended to prevent an unexpected failure.”
It’s not just your battery that doesn’t function well in the cold. You should also make sure your windshield wipers are in good condition and able to clear snow off your windshield. And check your tires. Make sure they have enough tread and are inflated properly – cold weather can deflate tires.
